This special group, led by Wataru Hamasaki, features top runners in the Japanese jazz scene, and features a wide-ranging repertoire of original songs as well as famous tunes from the past, such as those by the Jazz Messengers and Jaco Pastorius, that can be enjoyed by everyone, including those new to jazz.
This time, the front line features the No.1 up-and-coming trumpeter Yusuke Sase and the rapidly rising trombonist Ayaka Ishibashi, while the rhythm section is bursting with pianistic energy, with Akane Matsumoto on piano, and Shimpei Ogawa, a bassist who is active in a variety of fields, including his participation in the Makoto Ozone Trio, and Masahiko Osaka, a drummer who is truly representative of Japan, will perform in a one-night-only show.
