We could not play live concerts at all in April and May due to self-restraint to protect us from coronavirus. Then, we were able to resume concerts in June. How happy and grateful I am to be able to play in front of the audience again. It made me reaffirm the meaning of our lives as jazz musicians. In my opinion, jazz is for two or more people to play together. We communicate with each other through sound, inspire each other, and sometimes betray each other, but the energy that was created this way can be passed on to the people who listen to it, making them happy and moved to tears. This spring, I felt as if I returned again to the way I was before. I had a fear of going back to a beginner when I did not play live for two months. It was hard to practice, too.

This time during the 2DAYS, on the 9th I will bring the more trusted and respected members: Mabumi Yamaguchi, Kazuhiko Michishita, Shinichi Kato, and Yoshihito Eto.

On the 10th, we will have Hot Session 2nd, Fumio Itabashi, Mitsuaki Furuno, and Yoshihito Eto. After Mr. Furusawa passed away, Eto joined us and the band members reunited.

We don't need any further explanation. They are simply the best.
