Our man, Eiichi Hayashi, will be 70 years old on January 1st, 2020. Congratulations! Hayashi is a cool guy, so he would never do anything fancy himself. But don’t you want to celebrate him with everyone? So, I talked to the members of Gatos, their manager Mr. Sugiura, and people at the Pit Inn and set up this 2DAYS event at the Pit Inn. All the concerts will be about "Happy 70th Birthday, Hayashi san!"
Jan. 10 (Fri): The first day will feature GATOS Meeting. It is Hayashi’s band with him as a leader. Sometimes they don’t play a song even though they have a fantastic repertoire. I am looking forward to Ryuichi Yoshida’s MC on the day! This is one of the most exciting bands. Don’t miss!
Jan. 11 (Sat): The second day will feature Eiichi Hayashi’s MAZURU ORCHESTRA. After their explosive performance at the SAPPORO CITY JAZZ 2015, the MAZURU ORCHESTRA will be reunite and appear at the Pit Inn to play Hayashi’s original pieces! This is a rare appearance of the gorgeous version of the orchestra with the members of Gatos and some fantastic guest performers. Must-see! 

I will say it again. It will happen at the Shinjuku Pit Inn on January 10 (Friday) and 11 (Saturday). If you can come, please come. We look forward to seeing you from all over the world!!
