“If You Make A Sound,” the band led by guitarist Ippei Kato—who is active both in Japan and abroad with groups such as the “Terumasa Hino Quintet,” “Shibusashirazu,” and ‘igloo’—has released its second album, “LIVE at Shinjuku Pit Inn”! The album features a complete recording of the first and second sets from “If You Make A Sound"'s live performance. Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Atsushi Tanaka—the renowned engineer behind “Shibusashirazu”—the album features cover art designed by Teruyuki Oshima based on live photos by photographer Noriko Akiyama. A masterpiece of nostalgic pseudo-folk music, featuring rich colors and a collage of space and time! Featuring Naoya Murata (turntable), who organizes “EDITS: Hito” and leads “DJ Kao” and “Oyatsu Time,” as well as musician Teruyuki Oshima, who heads numerous units including sim, liiil, Kokai, and his solo projects.
