Saxophonist Erena Terakubo, based in New York, will embark on her first domestic tour in two years. She will arrive in Japan in November to perform at the Sapporo Jazz Festival, followed by a tour with her quartet in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka. The quartet features three rising stars currently making waves in Japan's jazz scene: David Bryant (piano), Shuji Watanabe (bass), and Hironori Suzuki (drums).

Erena Terakubo made her album debut at age 18 while in her third year of high school. After graduating from the Berklee College of Music, she moved to New York and has been actively pursuing her career, primarily with her own group.

On April 30, 2022, she performed at the International Jazz Day All-Star Concert held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

In 2023, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, she graduated from the Manhattan School of Music Graduate School, where she enrolled to further hone her skills. She is now expanding her activities from New York to Europe. Please keep an eye out for Elena Terakubo's Japan tour this fall!
