Makiyo Sakai, Toru Nishijima, and Yoshifumi Nihonmatsu, who have been active in various scenes and have performed together as a trio, will be performing at a session night! We will deliver original pieces that blend the beautiful tones of our members, who shine in duos and trios, with the essence of contemporary music!
Takako Yamada
After graduating from Kunitachi College of Music with a degree in piano, Takako Yamada studied jazz independently and was awarded a scholarship to study at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. After graduating, she performed in Boston and New York before returning to Japan to base her activities. Last year, she released her eighth leader album, “Plays Standards - Live at THE MOMENT,” which is currently selling well.
While mainly performing with her own trio and duo, she has now formed a rare quartet with some wonderful musicians. Don’t miss it!
