The band was formed by Atsushi Ikeda, who inherited the spirit of the band that had previously been active with the late Fumio Karashima, and recruited young musicians a generation or two younger than himself. The band plays original songs and other pieces, performing a flexible and energetic style of straight-ahead jazz. They will be performing a selection of tunes from their second album, ‘OUR STORIES’, which was released in August last year, as well as some new tunes.
