3DAYS is the first time in 2 years since 2022.
On the first day, Friday, November 22, there will be a DUO with Soichi Noriki, "Hon-no-ri". With the simplest formation of only saxophone and piano, we will take you to various landscapes and worlds. The duo will be going on a 3-week tour for the record release, and you can look forward to a call and response in the tightest possible state, and a different colorful atmosphere than the album. We will also play songs that did not make it onto the CD.
On the second day, Saturday, November 23, we will have our regular band BW4 (Burning Wave Quartet) and Isao “Sankichi” Miyoshi, a super guitarist from all genres.
We've performed together many times in sessions, but this will be the first time we've invited him to perform at one of our live shows. However, I have invited him to come to record a soundtrack album.
It was “Milky-colored Moon” (97CX). I wonder if he remembers? He played with the finest sense. I'm looking forward to seeing the chemistry with BW4.
On the third day, Sunday, November 24th, I will be performing with my saxophone quintet and piano sextet, which is one of my life's works ♪. Once again, some of the greatest musicians in the classical world will be joining me. Of course, each of them has performed with each other before, but this will be the first time they will be performing as a team. Members who have participated in the soundtracks for films such as “Chocolate People” and the serial drama “Shinjuku Field Hospital” will also be coming, so it would be a great pleasure if we could play some of those pieces live.
