Berlin-based Aki Takase will return to Japan with Daniel Erdmann, with whom she has been working in recent years as a duo and in her own band JAPANIC. This year, Takase released “Ellington!” (enja) as a duo with Erdmann and “FORTE” (BMC/Tokyo Mplus) with JAPANIC, respectively, and “FORTE” was nominated for the German Jazz Critics Award and received high praise in Europe. This time, Takase and Erdmann will perform as a duo, and guests will include Otomo Yoshihide on the 8th for improvisation, and Michiyo Yagi on the 9th. This will be her first collaboration with Otomo and Yagi.
