Thanks to your kind support, we are able to hold 3 Days at the Pit Inn again this year. In addition to the 'Yosuke Yamashita x Naruyoshi Kikuchi DUO' and 'Yoshihide Otomo x Naruyoshi Kikuchi DUO', which have remained unchanged for nearly 30 years, the lineup includes the 'Naruyoshi Kikuchi Quintet' for the third consecutive year since the year before last. Conversely, after 30 years of regular duo performances, one begins to feel as if one never knows what will happen each year, which is similar to traditional performing arts such as rakugo and kabuki. While my music is rather intense in general, the quintet is more of a corny and relaxing one that is most compatible with the authentic jazz enthusiast. But perhaps the biggest story of the year is the point that I have been in rehab as a saxophonist for less than two years, unable to play due to surgery on my front tooth (lol). We hope you will enjoy these three very thrilling evenings that may seem uneventful.
