This year's 5DAYS events will feature both sides of the set with older bands and musicians who have been working together in recent years in a large formation. We hope you enjoy the layers of various overlapping sounds.

First of all, I would like to open the first day with a performance with the great Masahiko Satoh, which I have been looking forward to for the past few years. It will be an impromptu banquet with Takayuki Kato, Junji Hirose, and Kumiko Takara, all of whom I respect and admire.

On the second day, "Orquesta Libre = ROLLY" will return after a three-year absence. Pop and psychedelic. A mysterious opera (?) born from the fusion of jazz and rock. Please enjoy.

Gathering for the first time in several years is the roaring jazz unit Emergency! Under the mottoes of "Swing," "Manly," and "Psychedelic," a group of good old fools who will never settle down will deliver hot sounds.

On the 4th day, we will present a jazz band I started with Mitsuru Nasuno, a good friend of ours who has been working together with us in Altered states, and some young talented musicians. This time it will be an expanded double band with Ornette Coleman And Prime Time and EBB in mind. The drum duo in "Picnic at the Music Hall" was so much fun that I invited Shun Ishiwaka to join us. We will dedicate this concert to R.S. Jackson and P. Motian!

On the final day, this performance by Limited Edition, which aims for "low jazz," is a homage to CODONA and the World Saxophone Quartet. Please also check out the grooves of African drumming authority Daisuke Iwahara and bassist Keigo Iwami.

Don't miss these five concerts!
