Notice of Change in Business Hours
From June 1 to June 20, the opening hours of the venue and the starting time of performance will be changed as follows:
open at 17:30 / concert starts at 18:00 – 19:50
Please note that alcoholic beverages, including those included in the set with one drink, cannot be served from June 1 to June 20. Thank you for your understanding.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you so much for your understanding.
*We will start accepting reservations at the reception counter of Shinjuku Pit Inn, or by phone (03-3354-2024), or via the ticket reservation form of each performance from AM11:00 on May 1, Saturday. (Customers who made reservations will be given reference numbers for priority entrance.)
Last year, we were not able to hold our regular series of events, but this year, we will have 5DAYS of various events.
The first day, June 2nd, will feature 'On The Mountain +'. This is a band that embodies my own style of pop acoustic grooves, but this time I'd like to add some 'distortion and twists' by inviting Tokutaro Hosoi.
On June 3, 'Yoshigaki / Hosomi / Iga / Yoshida' will be featured. Sakana Hosomi is a unique producer and keyboardist in the rock world. Wataru Iga supports the foundation of the Haruomi Hosono band. Ryuichi Yoshida has a deep knowledge of the science fiction world. We will deliver the sound that we have cultivated with them for five years.
On June 4th, we will have 'A Night of Improvisation' with Masahiko Satoh. I'm looking forward to having the dialogue via music with Takayuki Kato and Junji Hirose, two great improvisers I respect.
On June 5th, we will invite Hideaki Kanazawa and Akira Ishii from Tanka Duo to perform at our 'A Night of Tanka (Ballad)' event. In response to an offer from Mr. Kanazawa, I planned a session with him and my duo with Otomo Yoshihide, with whom we actually have a strange connection. We asked Kei Matsumaru, who has been very active in this field, to be a solvent for the members. What will happen now? Don't miss it!
The last day, June 6th, is 'A Night Dedicated to Don Cherry and AACM'. I hope this will be a night to surrender to the 'song and dance' that emanates freely and naturally from within you.
It will be a tribute to CODONA, Old and New Dreams, Ritual Trio, AEOC, and the music of the world once called the Third World. See you at the Pit Inn for the start of summer!
