It's been a year since we refrained from live concerts right after my last year's 3Day event. The way we receive music has changed drastically since then, as live streaming performances with limited audiences have become the mainstream.

Not only music, but the world has become more convenient with online and social networking sites, but don't you get tired of being at the mercy of the vast amount of information and languages?

I think if you had a chance to listen to music live, preferably at a live venue, and surrender yourself to the playful sounds without thinking too much, your heart and brain would relax.

I hope to share with you something like the roots of humanity before words, in the space between instrumental abstraction and figuration that only Tsuboguchi can provide.

We will have a lot of 'fun sounds' for three days, mixing our respect for jazz, deconstruction, and technology that represents the times.

The main topic of this year's event is the first day, my old Tsuboguchi Trio with Masaaki Kikuchi and Nobuo Fujii! We reunited last year after a 12-year hiatus, and the trio's quiet improvisation was so good that we decided to perform again.

On the second day, Ortance, a J-Pop band that has achieved a different level of freedom by sealing off the jazz mannerisms, will play man-machine music with organic soundscapes.

On the third day, a trio in which I can express myself most honestly as a jazz pianist. This time, we may incorporate electric piano with two trusted young musicians to deliver stylish jazz.
