Rosario Giuliani & Jan Lundgren are now central figures in the European jazz scene. This is the first time they perform together in Japan. In Tokyo, the quintet will perform only at Pit Inn.

Rosario Giuliani is one of the leading saxophonists in his native Italy and Europe. He and I toured together with former Bill Evans Trio drummer Joe LaBarbera and Canadian vocalist Caity Gyorgy on his tour in Japan last year. Rosario’s performances, full of passion and musical philosophy, were enthusiastically received in various parts of the country each night. This year, I will be having a new conversation with Rosario in the form of a duo live performance at the Pit Inn. I would be happy to share this special time with all of you. – Hakuei Kim
