Among the various projects I have started, this is actually the most jazz standard-conscious, and above all, it is soothing yet not conservative. With a non-centralized voice that appropriately mixes singing, recitation, and saxophone, ambient and deconstructed, generally speaking, it’s like something a female art university graduate would do, but done by Naruyoshi Kikuchi.
