The foot-pump organ I found at home led me to spend 77 years of my life with the piano! The accumulation of live performance experiences is the very sustenance of life, the source of health. I am grateful to be able to play energetically, having overcome countless past hardships and illnesses. This year, I will perform three nights with my wonderful companions and guest musicians: “Itan Fu Itango,” “Fumio Itabashi Orchestra,” and “Fumio Itabashi・Kiju Trio,” celebrating my 77th birthday.
