The Ancient Highballs is a 10-member jazz pop band led by Australian trombonist and composer James Macaulay. This project, which began as a collaboration between James and singer/trackmaker ermhoi, features an all-star lineup of musicians leading Japan's music scene. The Ancient Highballs' music is a treasure chest of pop and jazz, rock and classical, improvisation and experimental sounds blended with comical elements. Their first album is scheduled for release in December 2025. Don't miss them as they race forward, bursting with passion for music!
