For five years now, this trio has performed together every month without faltering, even through the pandemic. To preserve the achievements of these three musicians, we are now releasing an album.
About This Album
For musicians, the global pandemic that began in late 2019—the COVID-19 crisis—was an unforgettable nightmare. Concerts, tours, and live performances were restricted, leaving them with no work for months on end. It was a period of immense hardship that lasted for years before things could return to normal.
After five years as a trio, we've kept performing live without pause, even under shortened showtime restrictions. To capture the accomplishments of our activities with drummer Shingo Okudaira and bassist Motoi Kanamori, we recorded at Tago Studio—a wonderful studio in Takasaki City, a place of memories where my childhood home once stood.
