Teruo Nakamura is a jazz bassist who has been active in New York for 60 years since 1964 as a pioneer of Japanese jazz musicians. He made it into the top 10 of the US album charts with “The Rising Sun” and performed at Carnegie Hall. This time, he will be performing with Yoshiaki Masuo, a close friend who debuted with Sadao Watanabe’s band and spent seven years in Sonny Rollins’ band after moving to the US, and also performed with Ashford & Simpson at Madison Square Garden. Please enjoy the authentic New York sound.
