Sadao Watanabe: Born in Utsunomiya in 1933. After graduating from high school, he moved to Tokyo and joined several bands, including Toshiko Akiyoshi's Cozy Quartet. After studying at Berklee College of Music, he became one of Japan's leading musicians, performing on the world stage with a unique style that goes beyond the boundaries of jazz. His career, which spans over 70 years, continues to inspire people of all ages and genders around the world. In 2024, he released his latest ballad album, ‘Peace’.
