This duo is composed of the unlikely combination of koto and recorder. Having walked parallel paths for many years, their collaboration creates a unique sound world through original compositions and adventurous improvisations. Their performances are sometimes energetic and upbeat, sometimes comforting and enveloping to the listener, and draw from a variety of influences including contemporary classical, folk, alternative pop, traditional Japanese music, and baroque. The music that emerges is fresh yet familiar to modern ears and reflects the history, culture, and traditions of each instrument. In 2019, they released their debut album, "Your Ten Is My Twelve", and this concert will be the Japanese release of their second album, Locked Away This will be a live performance. This concert will be a release live in Japan for their second album, "Locked Away".
