Hi everyone, it's been a while, my name is Shun Ishiwaka. We are very honored and grateful to have the opportunity to perform 6 shows in 3 days at PIT INN again this year. This will be my first appearance at Pit Inn in 2024. I missed that air of the PIT INN so much, and at the same time, I'm very excited and looking forward to it.
The first afternoon will be a duo show with chihei-san. Last year it was a pre-release show, but this year it will be a live show after having already released two works. Last year's talk by chihei-san was a personal favorite of mine, and I wonder what kind of performance and talk he will give this year.
In the evening of the first day, we will be performing as a new trio with Marty Holoubek, a well-known member of Terumasa Hino's band, Yusei Takahashi on piano, and myself, creating the best of a piano trio. In addition, we will be joined by guitarist Gensuke Kanki, who has become a sought-after performer in classical music and many other genres, and my favorite singer-songwriter, Kemono Ame, for a very special live performance.
The second day will feature Answer to Remember, which has released a new album after four and a half years. We will be presenting a mix of old and new. What will happen this year! It's a party!
The daytime of the third day will feature my trio of songbooks. It has been quite a while since I have performed with this trio, but once again, this is an important musical occasion for me. The evening event is MIZ, which has become a regular event. I have always been a fan of their music, and I am very happy to have the opportunity to work with them again.
